These terms apply when you buy from ceylontrends.lk. Placing an order means accepting them.

Who we are

Ceylon Trends LK, an online store operating in Sri Lanka, selling watches, beauty and fragrance products, bags, men's essentials and home goods. You can reach us on 0767087504 by phone or WhatsApp.

Orders

An order is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract when we confirm it by email — which we send automatically as soon as you check out.

We may decline or cancel an order, refunding anything already paid, if:

• The item turns out to be out of stock
• A price or description was listed in error
• We cannot deliver to the address given
• We reasonably suspect the order is fraudulent

Prices and payment

All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees and include any applicable taxes. Delivery is charged separately as set out in our Delivery Policy, and the total you see at checkout is the total you pay.

We accept:

• Cash on delivery — available for Colombo 1 to Colombo 15
• Direct bank transfer — available island-wide

For bank transfers, we dispatch once the payment has cleared. Orders awaiting payment may be cancelled if the transfer is not made within a reasonable period.

Prices can change at any time, but never after you have placed an order — the price you paid is the price, even if it goes up or down the next day.

Pre-orders

Some items are sold on pre-order, which the product page says before you add them to your cart. A pre-order is dispatched within 7 to 14 days. To confirm it, we need a 20% advance, paid by bank transfer only, whichever payment method you choose for the rest; the balance is paid when it is delivered. If we are not able to dispatch it within 14 days, the advance is refunded in full.

When a pre-order is placed together with items we have in stock, the two are handled as separate orders so the in-stock items are not held back. Each is a delivery of its own and carries our standard delivery charge, unless your order qualifies for free delivery — through a Welcome Deal item or a free-delivery coupon — in which case both deliveries are free.

Coupons and offers

New customers who create an account get a one-time welcome offer, the code NEW-TO-CEYLON: 10% off and free delivery on their first order. It:

• Can only be used while signed in to your account, once per customer
• Does not apply to items already on sale
• Cannot be combined with another coupon
• Has no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred

Every coupon is subject to the conditions shown with it. We may refuse or cancel a discount obtained by creating more than one account, by misuse, or through an error, and we may change or end an offer at any time — though never for an order already placed with it.

Product descriptions and photographs

We describe every product as accurately as we can. Photographs are taken under studio lighting, and colours can look slightly different on your screen or in daylight; a small variation in shade is not a fault.

For beauty, skincare and fragrance products, please read the ingredients on the product page and the pack before use, and patch-test first if you have sensitive skin or allergies. Results and how a scent wears vary from person to person, and are not a fault.

Where a watch states a water-resistance rating, that rating describes the watch when new and sealed. It is not a promise that the watch may be swum or dived in unless the product page says so explicitly.

Delivery

Delivery charges, areas and timescales are set out in our Delivery Policy. Delivery windows are estimates given in good faith, not guarantees, and can be affected by weather, courier delays or public holidays.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. It is your responsibility to give an address and a contactable phone number that are correct.

Returns and warranty

Returns and refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, and warranty cover by our Warranty Policy. Nothing in these terms affects any rights you have under Sri Lankan consumer law.

Reviews

Ratings and reviews on this site come from our customers. Some are submitted on the site and some are entered by us from feedback customers give us by phone, WhatsApp or social media. We do not change what a review says, but we may remove one that is abusive, unlawful, or not about the product. By sending us a review you allow us to publish it with the name you give us.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for anything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to it. We may suspend an account being used fraudulently or abusively.

Our liability

Our responsibility for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect losses — lost time, lost earnings, or a missed occasion because a delivery was late.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

This website

The content of this site — text, photographs and design — belongs to us or our suppliers and may not be copied or reused commercially without permission. Brand names and logos belong to their respective owners.

We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change or withdraw any part of it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
